It was a very nice visit to and old school in the Black Swamp, this small school is remarcable because has the atmosphere of one hundred years ago, and shows very well how hard and heroic was this time.
ReplyDeleteVery nice Rodolfo! I agree! The building is a remarkable place. When I am there, I feel in touch with my grandmother and the rest of my anscestors who settled eastern Pennsylvania. It is a profound feeling of wonder and confusion. I am continually amazed by how much people sacraficed to get an education.
ReplyDeleteThe 'Little Red School'was 124 years old .All grades student were in same class, even though the school is so small and one teacher taught all students.It was amazing.It was a nice day to visit there for me.I learn some stuff from the class and i feel very close to the history.
ReplyDeleteIt was a wonderful experience and the class i have had. We bacame old students and experienced many things that old songs, old desk, old stove and so on.
ReplyDeleteDunce would be a student who did not obey the teacher's order or was a stupid person. They wrote about the homeworks or what they learned on the small tablet. Everything was the best part of the visit. If i have to choose on of them, it will be old books. I found them in a drawer and saw many books which was used in the past.
I have been experience and I want go agin. I like old place so old desk ,chair ,piano and etc.. I want have . Dunce would be a student who did not obey the teacher's order. I was late the class so I was wear dunce . This schoolhouse was funny I want go agin.

It was a beautiful day to visit the little red school . The Little Red School is old and memorabilia . It has every things for class such as desks , chers , books,ruler,pen, ....etc . It was old but interesting . I think it is interesting class when they study in the one class .A dunce is plase for student who they are late or stupid .The best part for me the part for the teacher because I would like to be a marm in the little red schoolhouse to know how they learn .
ReplyDeleteWhen I went to The Little Red Schoolhouse with my teacher and classmate I saw the difference between the school in the past and now .I like this time in the past because no paper they only use bord for write their homework and I think they didn't have a lot of homework becuase they also work in their farm . The best part of the visit to the schoolhouse was the bookcase , its has the old book .

The little red house is very simple but practical, small but not crowded.the over a hundred house maintain to today, that is not easy thing.More difficult to imagine is that this small house is actually a school at that time
