The Last of the Mohicans
The movie the Last of the Mohicans is a powerful story of the struggle to survive. We use this movie to analyze what happened here in Northwest Ohio. What do you think about the alliances formed with the indigenous people and the different groups? Did these alliances ever benefit the indigenous people of the Americas? What do you think? Why or Why not?

Although the movie was made in 1992, it was a great movie. Frankly Speaking, i was dozing during the movie time. But i got and watched it again, i could understand what happened in the movie. Those indegenous people helped British people to survive. Unfortunately, Uncas was dead. Actually, it has many meanings; they cannot carry on their family line any more, and nature's destruction. In the movie, Nathaniel's people were described as the good, Magua was described as the evil. But the Indians had to be on France's side for their tribe. why was it described like this? If we consider carefully, we can see that the indian was described as the good, who helped the White.
ReplyDeleteToday we were watching a movie. But, the film got a problem, we could watch the end of the movie. British and French troops do battle in colonial America, with aid from various native American war parties. The British troops enlist the help of local colonial militia men, who are reluctant to leave their homes undefended. I only know the story here.

ReplyDeleteThe movie talk about colonies. it is the 3 years of the war between Englan and France for the prossession of the continent.I love the male cole Uncas, he is a real man.and the famale cole Cara, she is a strong woman.
We watched the movie about the last of the mohicans.The film tell us about a war in North America over land . Mostly, the war was between England and French.If I lived in this time I will struggle to returned my land.
ReplyDeleteThe title of the movie comes from a quote by Tamenund: "I have lived to see the last warrior of the wise race of the Mohicans”. It is a adventure and romance movie. It is said that three brothers are swept into the French and Indian war of 1757.though this movie I can learn the history between Europe and US .the love of Cora Munro and Hawkeye which let me feel much moved. In the end of the movie, they are standing on the mountain and they are gazing at the distant places which feel like to see the hoping. The colonists are bound by law to join the militia to aid the British; many of them are reluctant to leave their homes and families defenseless. If who don't want to join the army, they will be arrested and they can't to protect their home, so I think alliances never benefit the indigenous people of the Americas.

Everyone in the story is trying to survive. The colonists were trying helping the British. This movie show us how the life before and how the people describe. The males are very Strong they look like real men. Also, I like women’s describe it was very pretty.
